Ryan Bockelmann and Dan LaManna are technology teachers at South Side Middle School and club advisors for the Robotics and Technology Clubs. Starting with a handful of interested students and initial funding from the Education Foundation, the SSMS Robotics Club has attracted an overwhelming response of enthusiastic students year after year. Robotics has become a highly visible part of the technology program at SSMS and they are most proud of how the technology culture has grown. They plan to continue to work together to research the newest technologies, machines, tools and strategies for students in the Rockville Centre School District.
