MISSION
The RVC Education Foundation fulfills its mission for school enrichment, by actively raising monies each year through an Annual Gala, seeking government funds, obtaining public and private grants, and soliciting donations from community members.
Over the past 15 years, more than $300,000 has been donated to the Rockville Centre public schools to fund projects such as: the high school newspaper "The Sportsman"; Shakespeare Festival; Project Weather Station; Literacy Programs; Robotics Team Competition; DNA Learning Center; Computers for 4th & 5th graders; Automated Exernal Defibrillators; and so much more! These are initiatives that are beyond the scope of the school district's budget.
With growing state and federal mandates and diminishing funding, school district resources are increasingly stretched. Ensuring an exemplary education for RVC's children, despite fiscal uncertainties and budgetary contraints, is a community responsibility that benefits us all. Now more than ever, we need the participation of community, business, and corporate partners to thrive. For all those who share our strong commitment to support public education, we invite you to join the RVC Education Foundation.
